Here are a few simple ways to help make Christmas more environmentally friendly and show “Goodwill to our Earth”
- Energy Efficient Lights – Use LED or solar lights for Christmas instead of traditional lights and reduce your energy use by 90 percent!
- Time Lights – If you do use traditional lights, reduce the hours you have them turned on. When you go to bed, turn out the lights. Better yet, put them on a timer.
- Green decorations – Consider reducing the number of lights on your house by decorating with reusable bows and wreaths instead of lights.
