Gifts From Our Fathers & Ancestors

Today is Father’s Day.

While my father is no longer with us, the gifts he has given me live on in very real ways. His work ethic, his sense of humor, his love of family and his joy of story telling inspires me on a daily basis. It has influenced who I am today and to that I am very grateful.

When I think about it, all our ancestors have given us such amazing gifts – life, character, history, legacy. The lessons they have learned and the successes they achieved touches us all in profound ways whether we realize it or not.

I am excited to announce the launch of my second ebook called “Louisa’s Journey – England to Canada in 1913.”

Louisa was my maternal grandmother and this is her true story of emigrating from England to Canada in 1913. Her ability to rise above challenges and to stand up for what is right is truly inspirational. If you are interested in reading more, visit Smashwords or Amazon Kindle.

To all our ancestors and especially our fathers today, we thank you for your many gifts.
